LIVING HISTORY PROJECT
The Living History Project is essentially a way of giving back to the people who serve our country. I was fortunate enough to attend this annual trip three times. During the time I spent there, I met three amazing veterans that change the way I view life and art forever.

I close the door but
never dared with a lock
And every night—
when everyone is asleep
I greet them politely
prepare a box of tissue
and serve them tea.
